Jahn Hultgren, the founder and owner, is an ISA Certified Arborist with over 30 years of experience working in the tree service industry.
In business since 1986, Jahn and his team have faithfully served the Pee Dee area of South Carolina. We have performed thousands of successful tree removals including work and cleanup after 6 major southern hurricanes including Hurricanes Hugo, Andrew, Fran, Wilma, Matthew, and Irma.
Hultgren Tree Service, LLC is a locally owned family business. For more than 30 years we have provided high-quality specialized tree services for Florence, South Carolina and the Pee Dee area. We serve both residential and commercial customers.
Before opening in 1986, Jahn Hultgren, owner, gained his love and respect for trees while working with his dad, Dennis E. Hultgren, on the family farm in South Dakota. Jahn is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist who holds a Bachelor’s Degree, B.A. 1984, in Political Science from the University of South Dakota, and a Master’s Degree in Education, M. Ed. 1989, from Francis Marion University. His education and experience provide the customer with in-depth knowledge and information about trees on their property.
